A supplier data platform for textile exporters. Exporters structure their evidence once: certificates, lab tests, origins, production events. And Traceova publishes it as interoperable GS1 EPCIS 2.0 and CBV 2.0 events, the open standard that Digital Product Passport programmes are converging on.
A QR code on each product that opens a structured record: what it is made of, who made it, what chemicals it carries, and how it can be repaired or recycled. The law behind it is the EU's Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), in force since July 2024, with textiles at the top of its priority list. The EU's draft apparel blueprint recommends 49 data points across 10 categories, most at production-batch level.
Your buyer does. The passport is issued by the brand placing the product on the EU market. But nearly every field in it is composed from supplier data: your fibre compositions, your batch records, your certificates, your facility IDs. You will not issue the passport. You will fill it.
The textile delegated act is expected in 2027, and ESPR rules apply no earlier than 18 months after an act enters into force. So obligations realistically land on 2028–29 collections. The commercial deadline is earlier: brands wire supplier data pipelines in the 2026–27 development cycles, and the suppliers in those pipelines get the 2028 orders. The delegated act is not yet adopted; final requirements may differ.
Apparel: garments at least 80% textile by weight, across 10 categories from t-shirts to swimwear. Yarn, fabric, and home textiles are out of the first wave, but not uninvolved: yarn, fabric, and processing data feed every garment passport downstream, and EU buyers already ask home-textile exporters for the same data in questionnaires today.

Most sit at production-batch level. Behind them sits the evidence layer: transaction certificates, test reports, and change logs, captured in full and shown only to auditors and authorities. The delegated act is not yet adopted; final requirements may differ.
Your certificates matter more under the DPP, not less. But a certificate is a PDF that proves a claim; a passport is structured data that makes the claim, batch by batch, with the certificate attached behind it. You need both. The gap is linking the certificates you already paid for to batch-level data. That is a data exercise, not a new audit.
No. The public tier names one facility: the making-up site, which is you. Upstream facilities are captured as evidence, not published. Price, costing, order volumes, and buyer names appear nowhere in the data set, and chemical details sit in a restricted tier for recyclers and authorities. Confidentiality is not the barrier. Unstructured data is.
